make: tea

Thirteen hour shifts take some getting used to, and I'm sure there's more coffee than blood running through many of my co-workers' veins! I try to stay away from the stuff, drinking tea instead. I just grab a few teabags on my way out the door in the morning, and keep a glass jar (with a lid to keep out hospital germs!) with me all day. Yesterday I ran out of my organic fair trade green tea, so I had to scavenge in the galley. When I saw this little yellow packet, I immediately thought of EAS (of course). I don't think it's the same Maryland Club, but still. It certainly made me smile!

What gets you through your work day?

read: Matchbook Magazine

I'm so excited about the launch of Matchbook Magazine, aren't you?

This has to be my favorite spread (book-related? I'm in). I won't lie; I've been trying to rock "geek chic" for about twenty years now! But now that Katie Armour says it's cool... maybe fashion's just catching up with me. Ha!

P.S. I'm so bummed that Catcher in the Rye sweatshirt is sold out in small sizes!

wear!

My new favorite necklace from Alter Designs. Artist Gretchen Alter makes charms for all 50 states, as well as beautiful initial charms. I guess by now you guys know why I chose New Mexico...

Thanks again, Kate (at Nautical by Nature) for hosting this awesome giveaway!

grateful.

Thank you to Kate at Nautical by Nature!

I just found out I won her giveaway for an initial necklace from Alter Designs on Etsy! I'm especially excited since I just bought a little something for a friend from Alter Designs a few weeks ago. Now I can have one for me, too!

What letter should I pick? My first initial (A) or my soon-to-be last initial (P)? What's your vote?
